Natasha M. Collins is a Senior Associate Attorney at Colwell Law Group, bringing experience from her role as a Staff Attorney at the Legal Aid Society of Rochester and from her practice as a family law attorney in Texas and Oregon (currently inactive), where she primarily represented low-income survivors of domestic violence.
Originally from California, where she did her undergraduate studies at U.C. Santa Cruz, Natasha moved to Oregon to study law at Lewis and Clark Law School. Her time at Lewis and Clark was distinguished by her commitment to community service and pro bono work. She completed the National Crime Victims Law Institute’s legal clinic and was on the board for the Crime Victims Rights Alliance student group. After law school, she worked at a small family law firm in Eastern Oregon before moving to Texas, where she also practiced. From there, she moved to Rochester, New York and continued to practice family law.
Throughout her legal career, Natasha has earned a reputation for being a strong advocate for her clients while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Natasha is active in her community, including serving on the board for the Monroe County Domestic Violence Consortium where she has led trainings for attorneys and community partners. She believes in client-forward representation and has the patience and knowledge for how to get it right in difficult family court and divorce issues.
Natasha is fluent in English and Spanish and has represented clients coming from all walks of life.
In her free time, Natasha loves to go to the beach, hang out with her family and crazy pets, and read, read, read!
