Leigh Ann started with the Colwell Law Group in July of 2026 as a Senior Supervising Attorney. Leigh Ann brings over 12 years of Family Law experience to her role at Colwell. She is actively involved in the Rochester legal community, currently sitting on the Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys (GRAWA) Board, acting as the Nominations Chair. She also serves as the Chair of the Monroe County Bar Association (MCBA) Lawyers for Learning Program, in which attorney volunteers are matched to mentor students weekly at Henry Hudson RCSD School #28. Leigh Ann is herself a weekly mentor.
Leigh Ann has performed countless residential real estate closings and looks forward to helping her clients settle their home sales or purchases.
Prior to her employment with Colwell, Leigh Ann was the Director of the Family Law Unit at the Legal Aid Society of Rochester NY, where she had been employed since 2014. She received her B.A. from American University in Washington, D.C. in 2009. She then attended the University at Buffalo Law School, specializing in clinical domestic violence work and graduating with her Juris Doctor in 2012.
She resides in Rochester with her family and enjoys trying new restaurants, summertime weather and spending time with loved ones.
